About Us
It was 1955, a new car cost about $1900.00 and gas was .23 cents per gallon ... that was the year Joesph Wenzel opened "Wenzel's Automotive Service & Gas". While we are no longer pumping gas, 60 years later we are still offering the best Automotive Service in town! Well actually, 2 towns! In 2001 Joesph's son Kevin opened our 2nd Location in beautiful Winthrop Harbor, IL. Since then, Joesph has retired and enjoys his time on the golf course while his son Kevin and grandson Kyle continue the tradition of offering Honest, Fair, and Reliable Automotive Services to all of Lake County!
